Job summary

Oh Là Là Chéri in Miami, FL is seeking a Technical Designer to drive the development of intimate apparel from concept through production, ensuring fit, quality, and construction meet brand standards. You'll collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and overseas manufacturing partners to create detailed specs, lead fit sessions, and approve samples for bulk production.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in technical design for intimate apparel or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit.
• Experience leading fit sessions and communicating fit corrections.
• Experience with overseas factories and vendors.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with PLM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed technical packages with specs, construction, grading, and measurement charts.
• Ensure design intent translates to production-ready garments.
• Review prototypes and production samples for fit, construction, and quality.
• Run fit sessions with cross-functional teams and document comments.
• Coordinate with overseas factories to resolve fit and construction issues.
• Maintain development calendars and monitor sample progress.
• Ensure consistency in fit, grading, and construction across product categories.
