- Execute the technical design process from development to final fit as an individual contributor.
- Analyze and evaluate garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
- Ensure products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.
- Develop technical specifications and communicate fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
- Make appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure the integrity of approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.
- Typically report to Technical Services Manager.
- Typically direct Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.
- 7+ years of experience in technical design with intimates/apparel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience.
- They will be supporting intimates/apparel.
- Working 4-5 days a week.
- Must be willing to come onsite.
- Looking for resources that have participated or owned their own fittings, can write up fit comments & pattern corrections, have centric training, Excel/Illustrator/Flex PLM, etc.
