Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an experienced Technical Architectural Designer for our client in New York City or Maitland, FL. The role focuses on technical design, construction documentation, and coordination across corporate and commercial interiors, including retail banking interiors.

Requirements include a BA in Architecture, 5–8 years of relevant experience, expert Revit and AutoCAD skills, and knowledge of NYC codes. The position offers a hybrid schedule and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree (MA) a plus.
• 5-8 years of continuous professional technical experience in Corporate/Commercial Workplace Interiors and Retail Banking Interiors.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes and NYC Zoning.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and document current conditions.
• Review and coordinate contract documents and standards.
• Produce full construction documentation with technical detailing.
• Coordinate with design team, client, landlord and consultants.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs and bids.
• Assist in project close-out documentation and site inspections.
