Job summary

Zumiez, based in Lynnwood, WA, is seeking a Technical Designer to lead fit and technical execution for designated categories within PBS standards. You will collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, Buying, vendors, and Patternmaking to ensure consistency, speed, and accuracy of tech packs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical design for knit and woven tops/bottoms, strong CLO3D and Illustrator skills, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in technical design for knit and woven tops and bottoms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and intermediate to advanced Excel.
CLO3D and Airtable experience preferred.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Independently manage assigned product categories from proto submit through top of production within PBS standards.
Identify fit, construction, and measurement issues and communicate technical corrections to factories.
Maintain accurate technical pack updates, comments, and graded specifications.
Coordinate and support fit sessions with cross-functional teams and live models.
