We are seeking a Technical Designer to manage the product lifecycle from pre-fitting through production fit approval for childrenswear. This role partners closely with the Director of Technical Design and works cross functionally with overseas teams, agents, and vendors to ensure garments meet fit, construction, and quality standards.

The Technical Designer will conduct fittings with live fit models, measuring garments, taking detailed fitting notes, editing comments, documenting fit corrections, and communicating updates to overseas teams and factories. This role partners with the Director of Technical Design to create comprehensive initial technical packages and final full graded specifications, and works under the Director's guidance to execute fit corrections using diagrams and garment patterns to achieve the desired fit, silhouette, and style. The Technical Designer facilitates communication with overseas offices and vendors to identify and resolve garment construction and production issues, meets weekly with the Production team to review sample approval status and support compliance with the Time and Action Calendar, and maintains accurate, detailed technical documentation throughout development and production.
