Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an Assistant Children'swear Technical Designer to support the technical design lifecycle from pre-fitting through production fit approval. In-office with some Fridays work-from-home flexibility, the role collaborates with overseas teams and factories to ensure accurate fit and construction.

You will partner with the Technical Designer to prepare initial technical packages and final graded specs, execute fit corrections with diagrams, and maintain precise

• Experience supporting the technical design lifecycle from pre-fitting through production.
• Ability to take detailed fitting notes and communicate updates to overseas teams.
• Familiarity with creating technical packages and graded specs.
• Strong collaboration with production teams and overseas offices.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Production to review sample status and support Time and Action calendar compliance.
• Interact with agents, overseas offices, and vendors to problem-solve engineering issues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout development and production.

Assistant Childrenswear Technical Designer

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the technical design product lifecycle from pre-fitting through production fit approval
• Support fittings with live fit models by measuring garments, taking detailed fitting notes, editing comments, documenting fit corrections, and communicating updates to overseas teams and factories
• Partner with the Technical Designer to create comprehensive initial technical packages and final full graded specifications
• Work under the guidance of the Technical Designer to execute necessary fit corrections, using diagrams and garment patterns effectively to achieve the desired fit, silhouette, and style
• Facilitate communication with overseas offices and vendors to identify and resolve garment construction and production issues
• Meet with the Production team weekly to review sample approval status and support compliance with the Time and Action Calendar
• Interact regularly with agents, overseas offices, and vendors to help problem-solve garment engineering issues throughout the product lifecycle
• Maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation throughout the development and production process
