Karen Kane, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Apparel Technical Designer to support our Design team. This on-site role requires an excellent eye for detail and a deep understanding of garment construction.

You will create tech packs, release fit notes, attend fittings, and collaborate with factories, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate production specs and on-time milestones.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Illustrator, Excel, and PLM software.
• 4+ years' experience as a technical designer in the apparel industry.
• Experience working with garment construction, tech packs, and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Create tech packs for overseas factories and vendors.
• Process garments and samples for fitting.
• Attend fittings with designers.
• Release fit notes and comments to factory contacts.
• Email correspondence with sales, customer service, production, and factories.
• Work with grading department to release final graded production spec sheets to factories.
