Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking a TEMP TO HIRE Technical Designer to join our team in Chatsworth. You will develop detailed tech packs, manage BOMs, and lead fittings to ensure correct fit and construction of lingerie and loungewear products.

The role requires 5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure accurate execution and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop technical specifications: Create detailed tech packs that include construction details, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs)
• Ensure proper fit: Lead fittings and provide feedback on fit, drape, and proportions
• Collaborate with others: Work with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure the design is executed accurately
• Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve fit and construction issues
• Stay up to date: Research new materials, technologies, and trends in lingerie
• Manage projects: Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
• Knowledge in fit, measuring, and garment construction.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication and writing skills
