Job summary

Chasepro is seeking an Individual Contributor for the technical design process from development to final fit. The role emphasizes strong pattern making skills, knits and wovens experience, and PLM familiarity to align with fit quality and cost targets.

The candidate should have 5+ years in technical design and plus size experience, with the ability to work efficiently without prior team management responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
• Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
• Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
• Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.
• Typically reports to Technical Services Manager.
• Typically directs Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Sr. Tech experience is great, but do not want someone who has already managed a team- feel they may be overqualified for this role.
