Job summary

The Levy Group in New York City seeks a detail‑driven technical designer to create and maintain tech packs, graded specs, BOMs, and construction details. You will lead FIT sessions, evaluate samples, and issue comments to overseas factories to ensure consistent sizing and construction across styles.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication, multitasking ability, and daily collaboration with domestic and international teams to keep multiple brands on schedule in a high‑volume

Qualifications

• Experience in multiple categories preferred.
• Experience with swim preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and be able to multitask.
• Daily communication with overseas vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple brands and work through deadlines.
• Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands.
• Ability to work in high volume department and work cross functionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Tech Packs, Graded Specs, BOMs, construction details.
• Schedule and Lead FIT sessions and evaluate Protos, FIT, PP, and TOP samples for FIT, measurements, and construction.
• Issue FIT comments, pattern corrections, and sample approvals or rejections to overseas factories.
• Ensure consistency of FIT, grading, and construction across all sizes and production runs.
• Manage multiple styles, calendars, and deadlines across seasonal development.
• Work with Design and Production to resolve all FIT issues.
