A leading apparel brand is looking for a Technical Design Manager to oversee the management of the Technical Design team and ensure fit quality across all product categories. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Apparel Technical Design and at least 8 years of experience in the apparel industry. Responsibilities include managing fit execution, leading the technical design team, and resolving quality issues. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $105,000 with benefits including medical and vision insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Designer in the apparel industry.
• Proven track record across multiple product categories.
• Experience with domestic/international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all technical design requirements from development through production.
• Utilize fit expertise to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Maintain and update Fit process SOP and establish department Fit budget.

Skills

Expert level understanding of garment and fabric technology

Strong understanding of product engineering and patternmaking

Advanced knowledge of garment testing and product safety requirements

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced level computer skills – Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
