Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services invites a Technical Deployment Lead to guide AI deployments for strategic enterprise customers. You will own direction, architecture strategy, and success of high-stakes projects, translating business trade-offs to executive stakeholders.

You will shape product goals, manage data governance constraints, and collaborate with the Delta squad to deliver measurable business outcomes and scalable templates for future work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management, systems or solution architecture, software/platform engineering, or technical leadership in customer-facing roles.
• Experience designing end-to-end AI systems (e.g., RAG, vector databases, and API integrations) and defining AI product/workflow specifications.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving technical deployments and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI deployment goal with strategic customers, qualify opportunities, and drive end-to-end life-cycle to deliver key business outcomes.
• Translate business objectives into technical delivery plans, orchestrating day-to-day execution for forward-deployment and implementation teams.
• Lead high-pressure alignment sessions with customer executives to navigate trade-offs, cost vectors, scope, and project risks.
• Transition frontier products to production, driving core metrics, workflow automation, and high user adoption while traveling up to 30%.
• Extract field learnings to build repeatable templates and playbooks for engineering teams.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management, systems or solution architecture, software/platform engineering, or technical leadership in customer-facing roles.
• Experience designing end-to-end AI systems (e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and API integrations) and defining AI product/workflow specifications.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving technical deployments and managing stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience prototyping low-fidelity solutions to validate AI features, user experiences, and model feasibility.
• Experience in systems design with the ability to explain model architectures, data analysis, feature engineering, and agent design patterns.
• Experience in Process Reimagination, assessing legacy workflows, and designing automated, AI-driven alternatives that enhance operational velocity.
• Experience in Context and Spec Engineering, systematically structuring data, constraints, and operational guidelines to optimize Large Language Model (LLM) performance.
• Experience in business-aligned evaluation design to define metrics, collect data, and measure a program's effectiveness and impact.
• Experience deploying agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector search, Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for multi-agent collaboration.

You will define the overall product/process goal, handle infrastructure and data governance constraints upfront, and break down highly complex challenges into actionable roadmaps while collaborating daily across the Delta squad to deliver customer business outcomes.

In this role, you possess an outcome-focused mindset and strong technical depth. You demonstrate strong executive presence and a relentless focus on execution and bringing business value to customers. You have a platform engineering and technical leadership background with a product mindset, allowing you to seamlessly translate business trade-offs to C-suite executives and discuss system architectures with team members and customer stakeholders. You will know how to navigate ambiguity, mitigate technical risks, and drive high user adoption for AI technologies.
