The Technical Delivery Manager will be a servant leader and coach, guiding and supporting agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You are passionate about technology and possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and Cloud technologies. You are as comfortable leading teams as you are diving into the technical details and contributing to the hands-on work when needed.

What you’ll do…

• Lead and mentor agile development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

• Ensure the team adheres to agile principles and practices.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to define project scope, create user stories, and prioritize the backlog.

• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and impediments to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

• Champion DevOps practices and drive the adoption of automation tools and processes for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.

• Work closely with architects and engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions consistent with Progyny’s overall technical standards

• Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Be a hands-on contributor when needed, assisting with technical tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance to the team.

• Leverage critical thinking and systems thinking to ensure teams are solving the right problems and they are solving them the right way

• Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.

About you…

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or similar role, leading agile development teams.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with cloud-based development and deployment.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other agile project management tools.

• Experience with Python, AWS, Salesforce preferred.

• Experience in Healthcare domain and associated compliance mandates (HIPAA, HITRUST) is a plus

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $190,000 - $200,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
