Position Overview :

The Transition Architect - Digital Workplace serves as the critical link between the presales / solutioning phase and the delivery of IT solutions for our clients. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless transitions from the sales and solutioning team to the delivery team, translating client requirements and expectations into actionable, structured delivery plans. The Transition Architect will work closely with the presales, solutions, and delivery teams, ensuring that solutions are both practical and feasible, while maintaining client satisfaction.

What youll do as the Transition Architect - Digital Workplace :

• Collaboration between Teams : Work closely with the presales / solutioning team to understand the clients business requirements, solution design, and technical specifications. Ensure that these elements are aligned with the delivery teams capabilities and processes.
• Transition Planning & Execution : Develop and lead the transition plan from the presales phase to the delivery phase, ensuring a smooth handover of all client requirements, expectations, and solution architecture. Act as the point of contact for both the solutioning and delivery teams.
• Solution Review & Refinement : Analyze proposed solutions to identify potential risks, gaps, or challenges that may impact the transition. Offer recommendations for refinement to ensure solutions are both deliverable and scalable.
• Risk Management & Mitigation : Identify any potential risks during the transition phase and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Ensure timely resolution of issues that may arise during the handover or delivery stages.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer : Ensure that all necessary documentation (e.g., technical specifications, client requirements, transition plans, etc.) is complete and accurate. Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions between presales / solutioning and delivery teams to ensure clarity and understanding of the solution.
• Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a communication bridge between presales, solutioning, and delivery teams. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders (internal teams and clients) on transition progress, timelines, and any issues that may arise.
• Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the refinement of the transition process, leveraging lessons learned to improve future transitions. Propose best practices and process improvements to enhance the overall transition experience for both clients and internal teams.
• Technical Leadership : Provide expert-level technical guidance during the transition phase. Help the delivery teams understand the intricacies of the solution, including any customizations, integrations, or specific client requirements.
• Client Engagement : Occasionally interact with clients to clarify requirements, present transition plans, or resolve issues. Ensure that the clients expectations are properly set and that all deliverables are aligned with the initial proposal.

What you will bring to the team :

Experience :

• At least 5+ years of experience in IT solutions delivery, with a proven background in managing transitions from presales / solutioning to delivery.
• Strong understanding of IT solution architecture, service delivery, and project management.

Technical Skills :

• Familiarity with a variety of IT solution areas with a focus on Digital Workplace Professional and Managed Services projects, with additional exposure to cybersecurity, infrastructure, software development, networking, and Cloud / Data Center projects helpful.
• Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.

Communication :

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in producing clear and concise documentation for technical and business audiences.

Problem-Solving :

• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues that arise during the transition process.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Project Management :

• Familiar with agile methodologies, project management frameworks, and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications :

• ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications are desired.
• Technical and / or Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or other technical certifications relevant to the solutions being delivered. Networking, Data Center, Security are desired.

Compensation :

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $170,000- $220,000.
