DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Data Manager supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB HBI). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) manages over 130 programs for the USAF and foreign allies, with the mission to modernize, develop, test, produce, field, and sustain these programs. The AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom AFB, MA, with units across CONUS and OCONUS.
This is a full-time position located at Tinker AFB, OK.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in preparing TCTOs for configuration changes and inspections, securing Government Equipment Specialist approval.
- Complete supporting documents such as Form 873 (TCTO Requirement), Form 874 (TCTO Supply Data Requirements), Form 875 (TCTO Programming Document), and coordination sheets.
- Support execution of configuration control board directives by collaborating with technical content managers to manage technical order changes.
- Assist in planning and executing the transition to a digital technical order system.
- Help establish, coordinate, document, and justify TO data requirements.
- Develop methods, plans, and feedback mechanisms to meet TO management objectives.
- Review and recommend changes to specifications and regulations; draft new specifications and regulations; support related projects.
- Review TO database products daily and correct data as needed.
- Monitor the TO system for change requests and advise the government on further actions.
Required Skills:
- U.S. Citizenship due to customer requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a professional discipline from an accredited program and 12 years of related experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition principles, policies, and practices as per DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, including understanding roles within the DoD and Air Force.
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree in a professional engineering discipline from an accredited program.
- 8 years of related experience, including 3 years in a DoD setting.
