West Monroe is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to join our Commercial Growth "Labs" Team.

The Technical Analyst within the Commercial Growth Labs team at West Monroe will support the development, optimization, and adoption of internal generative AI and data-driven assets. This role focuses on enhancing processes, improving prompt engineering, and fostering data fluency to enable the strategic goals of the Commercial Growth team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise , a data-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• AI Prompt Engineering
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine processes that leverage generative AI capabilities.
  • Develop, test, and optimize AI prompts to ensure high-quality outputs tailored to business needs.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable prompts and process templates for scalability.
• Technical Support and Documentation
  • Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of generative AI solutions.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system workflows, process maps, and user guides.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure the successful adoption and integration of AI tools into existing systems and processes.
• Data Analysis
  • Enable better use of data in decision-making through data analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform process improvements.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and quality for AI-driven processes.
• Coordination and Communications
  • Support project management activities, including milestone tracking, issue resolution, and progress reporting.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering) preferred, or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 years of experience in technical analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and prompt engineering is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, or R) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum project environment.
