Job description

Will be working to conceptualize data models and data dictionaries.

Look for Data dictionaries, data tables, backend focused experience to understand data infrastructure. Data migrations, Data Profiling, Conceptual Data Models, Data Quality, Data Management, Data Integrity, Data Workflows, Dimensional Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Tables,

Data/Business Requirements, Data Documentation:

Documenting data process flows, data mapping, data models, data dictionaries, etc.

Strong and advanced SQL skills.

The DA won’t be building data models, but if they have some depth there great. If we do find good Data Modelers bubble up to AP to take directly to the team for other areas of need.

When you think DA around Data Models think schemas – Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Starflake Schema.

Data processing experience and tools:

Could also see things like OLTP or OLAP for data processing.

Azure – must have, unless really interesting without Azure from Asset Management firm.

Look for Azure DW experience as will be aligned to this.

Industry: must have asset management/investment management experience and really know the business.

Location: ideally in LA office 3 days/week, but can flex on remote PST with some CST flex for top talent. Prefer talent over location.
