Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain customer-facing, best-in-class technical courseware and learning content.
- Create comprehensive training materials, including concepts, tasks, installation guides, illustrations, video scripts, course modules, and in-product documentation.
- Develop customer-focused learning content for HPE Networking cloud services, automation, and networking solutions.
- Translate complex networking and software technologies into easy-to-understand educational content.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and validate technical accuracy.
- Analyze product specifications and recommend the most effective learning approach.
- Gain hands‑on experience with HPE networking products to understand customer workflows and learning needs.
- Follow established content development standards, style guides, and documentation processes.
- Lead or contribute to courseware development projects while working in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Utilize AI‑powered tools to improve content creation efficiency while maintaining high‑quality deliverables.
What You Need to Bring
- 5+ years of experience creating technical documentation, courseware, or customer education content.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent networking certifications/experience.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to produce accurate, high‑quality, user‑friendly content.
- Good understanding of cloud computing, networking, automation, data centers, security, and enterprise software technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with networking technologies, including:
- Routing & Switching
- Network Security
- Network Automation
- Virtual Machines
- Containers
- Cloud Services
- Ability to independently research and simplify complex technical concepts.
- Experience with XML, Markdown, content management systems, and courseware authoring tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for content creation and productivity.
- Self‑driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced technical environment.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Markdown and Microsoft PowerPoint for technical content creation.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with HPE Aruba Networking and/or HPE Juniper Networking products.
- Industry‑recognized networking certifications (e.g., Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or equivalent).
- Experience leading technical content or courseware development initiatives.
