Job summary

Shell is seeking a senior technical expert to oversee LNG, gas and power ETRM portfolios, leading Endur-related efforts and collaborating across global teams.

You will provide Endur support, design and implement enhancements, and drive timely delivery while ensuring adherence to Shell’s coding standards and IT procedures.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of experience with Endur projects and end-to-end trade lifecycle
• Experience with energy/commodity trading including LNG, oil, gas or power
• Proven ability to mentor teams and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
• Strong communication across diverse geographies and cultures
• Experience with Agile development techniques and SDLC

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical support for Endur and its interfaces, engaging in project work and BAU activities.
• Perform requirement analysis, solution design, implementation, unit testing, UAT coordination, and oversee production deployment.
• Lead development teams to deliver quality Endur solutions within set timelines and facilitate change-management communications.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to standardize processes and ensure IT policy adherence.

Where You Fit

Task overseeing technical aspects related to LNG, Gas & Power ETRM portfolios, collaborating with stakeholders to provide IT solutions. Serve as a Technical Expert & Lead in Openlink Endur, adhering to Shell’s coding standards and operating in a dynamic, collaborative environment across virtual teams and geographies.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical support for Endur and its interfaces, engaging in project work and day‑to‑day business‑as‑usual activities.
• Perform requirement analysis, solution design, implementation, unit testing, coordination with stakeholders for UAT sign‑off, and oversee production deployment and post‑production support.
• Actively participate in design discussions and implementations, drive development of enhancements, facilitate change‑management communication, and lead development teams to deliver quality solutions within specified timelines.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to advocate for global streamlined enterprise processes and information standardization while ensuring adherence to IT procedures and policies.

Technical & Professional Qualifications

• At least 15 years of experience in Endur projects, demonstrating proficiency in managing end‑to‑end trade lifecycle processes.
• Deep understanding of the energy/commodity trading landscape, encompassing Oil, Gas, Power, LNG, or other commodities.
• Expertise in managers, configurations, deal setup, Connex framework, and reporting within Endur.
• Systematic and analytical problem‑solving approach with keen attention to detail.
• Proven communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders across diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Mandatory experience with Agile development techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of business process improvement, risk management, and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a robust capability center focused on high‑quality, timely delivery.
• Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality outcomes within set timelines.
