Job summary

TEKsystems in St. Louis, MO seeks a senior geospatial professional to collaborate with defense and intelligence clients, define GIS workflows on the ArcGIS platform, and deliver location-driven solutions that support meaningful business decisions.

You will translate customer goals into GIS-enabled capabilities, demonstrate complex GIS solutions to diverse stakeholders, and guide secure implementations that respect regulatory requirements. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position with related responsibilities.
• Experience designing, implementing, and/or administering enterprise GIS solutions using ArcGIS (Desktop, Server, Online).
• Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• US citizenship with Active or Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, GIS, or STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
• Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices for innovative GIS solutions to support decision making.
• Demonstrate the value of location within customer workflows and drive ROI in enterprise platforms and services.
• Propose architectures and solutions and help customers plan implementations and migrations.
• Present complex GIS demonstrations to staff at various levels within customer organizations.
• Collaborate with customer IT to align technical objectives with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
• Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers regarding innovative solutions using technology and content to help them make better decisions
• Identify the value of location within customer workflows and drive substantial return on their investment in enterprise platform and services
• Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategies
• Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations
• Collaborate with customer IT organizations to align their technical objectives and business goals with technology enterprise

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
• Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (Desktop, Server, and Online)
• Proven experience leveraging software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs
• Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain
• Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customers
• Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
• US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field

Recommended Qualifications

• Master's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
• Programming and scripting experience with Python
• Domain experience around Defense and Intelligence content workflows
• CompTIA Security + certification
• Experience with current technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented and cloud computing architecture
• Understanding of IT integration concepts such as databases, web services, webhooks, mobile devices configurations, web browsers, IT system architecture concepts

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $84000.00 - $142000.00/yr.
• Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
