Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Technical Consultant to lead cloud security architecture and risk strategy for enterprise clients, both onsite and remotely. You will translate risk into cloud-native controls, design governance across IaC pipelines, and drive security tooling integrations with Wiz and Prisma Cloud.

You will also contribute to business development, create deliverables, and mentor colleagues while maintaining broad IT trend knowledge. Competitive US salary offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cloud Security Architecture & Risk Strategy: review and implement secure cloud reference architectures and landing zones.
• Translate risk strategy into cloud-native security controls.
• Design multi-cloud governance models (IaC, PaC, multi-account).
• CNAPP tooling: Wiz and Prisma Cloud integration with enterprise tooling.
• Communicate Wiz/Prisma outputs to technical and business stakeholders.
• Deploy Prisma Cloud in enterprise environments.
• Automation, IaC & container security: Terraform/Bicep/AWS CloudFormation; policy-as-code.
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash to automate security tasks.
• Container security with Docker and Kubernetes; secure workloads at scale.
• Support business development and pre-sales activities when needed.

TechnicalConsultants are experienced in information security and/or information security governanceor compliance.Successful candidates support the Security and Compliance Practice in Delivery, Business Development, and Practice Development.

TechnicalConsultants collaborate with a diverse team of consultants with varying skills to meet and exceed client expectations through scoped engagements. They effectivelylead orsupportsmall to medium sizedclient engagements onsite or remotely by guiding engagements toward scopedobjectives.TechnicalConsultants contribute toclient deliveryby executing the necessarytechnical or process-focusedtasks, producing expected collateral, and presenting artifacts at any time throughout an engagement.TechnicalConsultants may be assigned a Project Coordinator role to ensure delivery engagements adhere to the associated timelineand to support project reporting requirements.

TechnicalConsultants can also support business development activities alongside a sales specialist to help qualify client needs and expectations, or more specifically todemonstratea capability or skillset. They may be directly engaged in client-facing interactions toidentifyclient needs and to produce and/or present sales proposalsor support client-visioning workshops.

Lastly, AHEADTechnicalConsultants alsoleveragetheir visibility and experience to contribute to the continuous improvement and maturation of in-practice service offerings and capabilities by proposing ideas for change and executing on ideas that are committed. Responsibilities

• Client Delivery

• Facilitate sessions of strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshopsforsmall to medium sizedservice engagements

• Ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managed

• Drive and manage theobjectives, requirements gathering, project tasks/milestone, project status, dependencies, and timelines, to ensure engagements are delivered successfully and on time while meeting the business objectives

• Creation and finalization of project deliverables, may perform peer review for collateral developed by others on a delivery team

• Presentation of deliverables to client executive management

• Knowledge of AHEAD’s project lifecycle management activities to effectively support delivery engagements throughout the duration of a project

• Business Development

• Support business development pursuits through client discovery meetings

• Represent service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients

• Knowledge of AHEAD’s sales management lifecycle to effectively support sales opportunities throughout the duration of a proposal

• Assist PrincipalConsultantsandSecuritySales Specialistswithengagement scoping and the creation of proposal collateral

• Practice Development & Thought Leadership

• Maintain subject matterexpertisein a minimum offoursecurity domains or three security solutions

• Participate in the development, enhancement, and standardization of AHEAD in-practice service offerings

• Enables more than one service capability

• Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of current and future state IT trends, technologies, and standards

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Security Architecture & Risk Strategy:

• Proven experience in reviewing and implementing secure cloud reference architectures and landing zones.

• Ability to translate risk strategy by mapping traditional lift-and-shift approaches into cloud-native security controls.

• Strong understanding of multi-cloud governance models, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), policy-as-code (PaC), tagging standards, and multi-account strategies.

• CNAPP Tooling:

• 2+ years of combined hands-on experience with CNAPP tools, particularly Wiz and Prisma Cloud.

• Expertise inintegrating Wiz and Prisma Cloud with enterprise tooling such as ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, and ticketing/alerting workflows.

• Able toclearly and concisely communicate Wiz/Prisma outputs (criticality, risk, remediation)to technical and business stakeholders.

• Strongtrack recordin deploying and instantiating Prisma Cloud.

• Cloud Platforms & Native Security Controls:

• 2+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Familiarity with cloud-native security services such as AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Google Security Command Center.

• Hands-on knowledge of cloud identity (IAM, Federation, RBAC) across multi-cloud environments.

• Familiarity withIDaaSsolutions such as Okta and Entra ID.

• Security Frameworks & Governance:

• Strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks: CIS Benchmarks, NIST, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, GDPR.

• Ability to design and map cloud-specific controls for audit and compliance needs.

• Experience with SIEM integration (Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle) and cloud-native detection capabilities.

• Automation,IaC& Container Security:

• Ability to read, understand, and apply Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, AWS CloudFormation).

• Familiarity with policy-as-code tooling (OPA, Sentinel) andIaCscanning in CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiencyin scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate security tasks.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) andsecuringworkloads at scale.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.__
