Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience required in a STEM field.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering experience/aptitude required.
• 5 years in technical marketing/sales of electrical components.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at channel and customer level.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and ability to influence.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ within the Americas; occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals with maximum gross margins.
• Plan and organize technical sales strategy for the territory.
• Track and communicate status of project and design activities.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and provide product training.
• Stay current with electronic components and connector technology.
• Collaborate with account managers, distribution partners, and OEMs to develop solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements and coordinate with Development Engineering.
