Job summary

Global Applications Solution seeks a Technical Configuration Engineer specializing in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Smart Spaces to support our IoT implementation on the West Coast. About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Configuration Engineer specializing in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Smart Spaces to support our upcoming IoT implementation project. In this role, you will be instrumental in configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting our smart building infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Configuration: Execute Kode OS per-site configurations primarily on a remote-first basis.
• Hardware Deployment: Provide on-site support for Nook installations (travel expected as needed).
• Data Management: Handle data source onboarding and configure source backfills.
• Module Integration: Enable and configure the On → Energy module integration.
• Troubleshooting & Workarounds: Provide Tier-2 troubleshooting and design landlord-BMS workarounds.
• Field Support: Travel to sites as needed (primarily focused on candidates located on the West Coast, near San Diego).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and smart space technologies.
• Hands-on experience with configuration, IoT data onboarding, and system troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel for on-site installations and support as required.
• Work Authorization: Must be a Green Card holder or U.S. Citizen (GC / USC only).
• Location: Based on the West Coast, ideally near San Diego (Hybrid work arrangement).
