Pellissippi State Community College is seeking a Technical Clerk I (Temporary Part Time) in the Admissions department at Hardin Valley Campus. The role processes admission documents, scans transcripts, and determines residency while supporting admission applications.
Hours are 30 per week, with work hours from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Two years of experience with a high school diploma are required; on-the-job training is provided.

Position Summary: The overall purpose of this job is to process Admission documents and transcripts for incoming and returning students, and to process Admission applications. Hours worked will be within regular working hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
80% Process, evaluate and scan documents required for admission, including but not limited to applications for admission, transcripts from high schools and colleges, and standardized test scores. Determine residency status for applicants and interpret immunization records.
20% Assist staff in the StartStrong Center, Financial Aid, Records, Advising, and others, with Admissions-related questions and specialized assistance.

Required Qualifications: High School diploma or Equivalent; On-the–job training is provided. Two year’s experience
Professional document processing. Higher Education experience preferred, but not required.
