Job summary

This on-site role requires adherence to quality checklists and safety programs, use of PPE, and continuous improvement while collaborating with the Supervisor and the North American Operations team. Candidates should maintain clean room discipline and follow ISO-related guidelines.

Position Purpose: Leadec Industrial Services Inc. is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. A clean room is a controlled environment that filters out pollutants like dust, microbes, and aerosol particles to create a clean area. A clean room is used to products and processes from contamination and to ensure workers' safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Live "Safety is Your Life" Program. Use proper personal protective equipment, i.e., hearing protection, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, etc., as required for the task at hand.

• One year of industrial experience and janitorial experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
• Able to wear protective garments like hooded garments, coveralls, or barrier gowns.
• Occasionally you may be required to wear a respirator (only in designated areas of the Clean Room)
• You will be required to push, pull 150 pounds occasionally and lift or often carry up to 30-50 pounds.
