Job summary

People Integra is seeking a CAD Designer to create accurate 3D models and drawings using CAD software based on provided instructions, sketches, and layouts. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.

Responsibilities include preparing models and drawings, applying revisions, and following drafting practices to produce clear deliverables on schedule. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (Technology or Drafting or similar) or related vocational program.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Basic understanding of drafting practices and procedures (e.g., Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

The CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed models & drawings using CAD software based on provided instructions, sketches, and layouts. This role involves working closely with engineers and other team members to produce high-quality modles & drawings for various projects.

• Prepare models & drawings using CAD software according to provided instructions.
• Perform model & drawing changes and revisions as directed by engineers or project managers.
• Receive close supervision, instruction, and review of work to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Follow modeling & drafting practices and procedures to produce clear and concise consumable models & drawings.
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and timelines.

• Proficiency in a CAD software.
• Basic understanding of drafting practices and procedures. Example: Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
