Advanced Technology Group in Westminster, Colorado, is looking for a Technical Buyer responsible for procuring materials and components for custom engineered metal products. This role involves close collaboration with project management and engineering to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
The ideal candidate should have at least a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in a materials role. Benefits include competitive salary, 120 hours of PTO, and health insurance.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
The technical buyer is responsible for procuring all materials, components, equipment, and services required to manufacture custom engineered‑to‑order metal products and systems. There is very little repetitive work, so you will be challenged as new projects are launched and executed. Working closely with project management, manufacturing, quality and engineering, you will develop and execute plans to deliver materials to ensure on‑time delivery, quality, and cost of our projects.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities; however, direction may be provided to project coordinators, QA and engineering personnel, and to shop personnel. Direction is provided in the spirit of organizing and prioritizing the tasks required to complete projects on time and within budget.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Prior training in Lean Manufacturing and work experience in a Lean environment is highly desirable.
