Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Business Development and Partnerships Professional to drive business development and technology strategies in a state-of-the-art science and technology environment, based in Albuquerque, NM.

You will engage with DoD, NNSA and other partners to realize program development, strategy and partnering objectives, and you will translate technical concepts into actionable benefits for mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' relevant experience.
• Experience with business development concepts.
• Active DOE L clearance or equivalent (DOD Secret).
• Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.

Our department provides integrated business development and partnerships experts that are embedded directly with mission and technology teams to realize program development, strategy and partnering objectives.

Responsibilities

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Execute stakeholder and partnership engagement strategies (DoD, NNSA and others)
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives for national security programs and technologies
• Develop and translate technology speak into the 'So What' for technology applications
• Discover and analyze market factors and national security requirements and trends
• Lead technology transfer initiatives to deploy national security systems
• Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with customer retention related to federal government agencies.

Physical Demands

• If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sub-contractor you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
• If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sub-contractor, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
