Job summary

Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. in Livingston, NJ, is seeking a Business & Marketing Coordinator (Technical Business Development) to grow our engineered resins portfolio by qualifying new customers, running material trials, and providing technical support from setup through qualification.

You will partner with Taiwan and FGS teams to build the customer pipeline, manage pricing, and coordinate product qualifications while expanding long-term, high-margin programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or applications engineering for engineered resins or similar thermoplastics.
• Direct experience with PET, PS, PC/ABS, PC, Nylon, and ABS, including grade selection and customer applications.
• Proven track record of building a pipeline, qualifying higher-margin customers, and managing material trials from sample through commercialization.
• Working knowledge of injection molding and/or extrusion processing and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Qualify new customers and run material trials at customer sites from setup through qualification.
• Coordinate with Taiwan and FGS teams on material qualifications and pricing.
• Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting for processing and part-performance issues, serving as the liaison between customers and suppliers.
