State Street seeks a junior Technical Business Analyst to support the Product Management team through technical analysis and documentation for new functionality and features. The role emphasizes detailed analysis of trading workflows and collaboration across product, technical, and business teams.

You will develop knowledge of Fund Connect infrastructure, data models, and database architecture while delivering high-quality documentation and contributing to DB design.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical business analysis and/or product in a financial services environment.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms in Mutual Fund, FX or Fixed Income space.
• Self-motivated with strong integrity and collaboration.
• Willingness to learn and work with a larger team.

We are seeking a junior Technical Business Analyst to collaborate with a stellar team of BA’s developing the product through its next phase of growth. This role focuses on technical analysis and documentation to support the Product Management team in designing new functionality and features.

With a strong technical background, the successful candidate will be able to show a successful track-record of delivering solutions where attention to detail and intellectual.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Technical Business Analyst, Product Officer you will

• Develop a deep understanding of existing Fund Connect infrastructure, data-models and database architecture.
• Conduct detailed front-to-back analysis of trading & settlement workflows for asset management & liquidity products.
• Deliver high-quality, detailed technical documentation business requirements in conjunction with product, technical & business teams including workflow diagrams, GUI definition and screen mock-ups.
• Provide input into database technical design (Oracle, SQL server)
• Create and manage administration of documentation including product development schedules, release schedules, bug tracking and user manuals.
• Contribute to the design & testing of new functionality and GUI’s.
• Work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
• Build solid relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups of differing levels of seniority.

• Relevant experience with electronic trading platforms in the Mutual Fund, FX and/or Fixed Income space

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Technically competent with the ability to code in Python, VBA and SQL
• Power user of Excel
• Messaging familiarity with FIX, REST API, SFTP, JSON, XML, SWIFT FIN/MX

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $113,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
