Job summary

APR Staffing in Oregon seeks a contract Technical Business Analyst 2 to support the PMO within IT. You will analyze requirements, elicit stakeholder needs, and translate them into clear specifications to guide IT projects across Corporate, Power, and Transmission lines.

Collaborate with senior analysts, business lines, and IT teams to plan work, define artifacts, and ensure traceability from goals to detailed requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years dedicated Technical Business Analysis experience with requirements elicitation, testing, and traceability.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into clear technical specifications and use cases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio) and effective written communication.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide business analysis support and elicitation to define requirements for IT systems.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to plan BA work, artifacts, and deliverables.
• Translate customer needs into detailed requirements and ensure traceability throughout projects.
• Coordinate with business lines and IT teams to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
