Job summary

Wellabe is hiring a Technical Business Analyst at Level 2 or 3 in Des Moines, IA. You will partner with business and technology teams to optimize costs, improve processes, and validate requirements using data analysis and AI-assisted methods.

Responsibilities include leading requirements activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior analysts while applying agile principles and DevOps-aligned practices. A bachelor’s degree is required with 2+ to 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Analyze moderately to complex business processes and application systems.
• Elicit and document requirements; develop business cases and detailed scope.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions and validate feasibility.
• Leverage AI and generative AI tools for requirements development, analysis, and evaluation while ensuring accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and model current and proposed business processes and systems to identify opportunities to improve operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases and detailed requirements, including project scope, cost-benefit analysis, efficiency, and feasibility.
• Analyze application system requirements, prepare scope documents, and identify technical solutions that address business needs.
• Present requirements and solution options to business, technical, and QA teams; facilitate solution selection and confirm feasibility and alignment with objectives.
• Elicit, define, document, verify, and validate requirements; plan and monitor activities, priorities, risks, scope, change control, and status communication to leaders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and BA practices, including field mappings, DevOps links to artifacts, and evaluation of process effectiveness.
• Train, mentor, and support less experienced BAs through coaching and educational opportunities.
• Leverage AI tools for requirements development, process and data analysis, documentation, and solution evaluation; maintain accuracy and security.
