Job summary

Loggerhead is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs, customer experience, and technical delivery. You will partner with stakeholders, product owners, UX/UI designers, solution engineers, developers, QA, and vendors to define effective tech solutions and document API requirements.

The role emphasizes functional analysis, data and UI/UX considerations, and ensuring requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with business goals within a Florida insurance tech

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar.
• Experience eliciting and documenting business, functional, nonfunctional, UI/UX, data, system, and integration requirements.
• Experience translating business processes and user needs into user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience partnering with product owners, designers, developers, and QA teams to deliver user experiences.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery, product development, testing practices, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, nonfunctional, data, UI/UX, system, and integration requirements.
• Translate goals, needs, workflows, and data into clear requirements, user stories, use cases, and testable criteria.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and solution‑design discussions.
• Document rules, screen requirements, field definitions, validations, and notifications.
• Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and maintainable throughout the lifecycle.
• Define interface behavior for navigation, validation, and responsive layouts.
• Review REST API specs and create API contracts with engineering teams.
• Develop source‑to‑target data mappings and transformation rules.
