Job summary

AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the Technology Compliance Program within the CIO. You will monitor policies, develop program materials, and assist with audits and documentation, including building a SharePoint library to track compliance work.

This 2+-year consultant role is remote-based in Portland, OR, with onsite attendance once a month and residency required in OR, WA, ID or MT.

Qualifications

• Degree in information technology/systems, business administration, or related discipline preferred.
• With Bachelor's degree, 7 years of experience required.
• With Associate's degree, 9 years of experience required.
• Without degree, 11 years of experience required.
• Experience in technical business analysis and IT with increasing technical depth.
• Familiarity with regulatory/compliance requirements (FISMA, NIST, NERC, FMFIA).
• Experience with audits, reporting, and policy writing.
• Proficiency with Visio and MS Office; SharePoint file management.
• Strong technical writing and ability to present information in various formats.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID required.

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Technical Business Analyst and support the Technology Compliance Program Manager and the Compliance Program within the Chief Information Office. This assignment will assist with monitoring technology policies, conducting opportunity analyses for the program, developing program materials, monitoring agency compliance requirements, supporting the facilitation of internal audit reporting activities, drafting processes, reviewing documentation for accuracy, and developing a SharePoint library and process for tracking technology compliance work.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is remote based in Portland, Oregon, with onsite 1 day per month, and must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Montana.

The hourly pay rate for this position is between $47.00 and $58.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

• A degree in information technology/systems, business administration, or a closely related technical discipline is preferred.
• With an applicable Bachelor's degree, 7 years of experience is required.
• With an applicable Associate's degree, 9 years of experience is required.
• Without an applicable degree, 11 years of experience is required.
• Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of technical business analysis and information technology and progressively more technical in nature.
• Basic familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, such as FISMA, NIST, NERC, FMFIA, or others.
• Basic experience with audits and reporting
• Basic experience with policy writing
• Proficiency with process diagramming (Visio)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proficiency with SharePoint (or similar) for file management.
• Strong technical writing and the ability to present information in various forms such as textual, graphical and statistical.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to triage requests and manage competing priorities.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a federal government or contracting environment.
• Prior experience in FISMA and NIST guidance
• Prior experience in policy writing
