Job description

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX

Onsite/Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location

Automotive domain must.

Experience in: Embedded electronics or electrical side

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  1. Design, integration, and release of electrical/electronic components software and architecture requirements for heavy and medium duty commercial truck vehicles.
  2. Integrate and release management of embedded electronics software to support vehicle hardware integration.
  3. Complete engineering change notice documentation to manage old and new software and use proprietary software to issue part bid requests.
  4. Understand electronics engineering requirements specification and work with project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, scope, and functionality.
  5. Plan and track verification and validation of components and fully integrated software solutions.
  6. Support launch at truck assembly plants as needed and resolve field issues as identified.
  7. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with product definition, software developers, suppliers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other professionals to ensure quality delivery.
  8. Demonstrated planning, budgeting, and organizational skills.
  9. Demonstrated teamwork, mentoring, collaboration, and cross-functional communication skills.
Required Qualifications
  1. B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree required.
  2. Experience with tier 1 supplier management, selection, hardware/software development, validation, and release.
  3. Embedded electronics integrated software on target technical requirement specification development and execution.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean, collaborative team environment.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good planning/tracking skills.
  6. Competency with standard business software tools (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
  7. Able to learn and use new processes and techniques and resourcefully solve complex technical issues.
  8. Commitment to reliability, value, and quality in all aspects of work; desire to join the World’s Best team.
  9. Willingness to grow continuously, both personally and professionally, and a strong results orientation.
Desired Qualifications
  1. Awareness of automotive, medium, and heavy-duty commercial truck regulations.
  2. Experience with V-model design development and validation processes.
  3. Experience in automotive or similar technical requirements specification design and release.
  4. Safety, on Board Diagnostics, and other areas impacting electrical/electronic design, architecture, and functionality.
  5. Knowledge of DFSS tools including FMEA, QFD, etc.
  6. Embedded real-time systems design and implementation.
  7. Knowledge of Azure DevOps, DNG, ALM, Quality center.
