Job summary

Aperia Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic, forward‑thinking team. You will translate business needs into actionable user stories, liaise between client, development, and data warehouse teams, and contribute to data identification, analysis, and testing.

The role emphasizes documentation, ownership, and collaboration across SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile). Strong SQL skills, Excel/Access experience, and familiarity with Java/Angular/Axure/Copilot preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a computer or engineering discipline.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall) and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong ability to transform and extract required details from higher‑level business requests.
• Working knowledge of query language such as SQL.
• High level of comfort manipulating data in Excel/Access.
• A solid understanding of testing and test case development.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal client to define and refine business needs into actionable user stories and tasks.
• Serve as liaison between client team, development team, and data warehouse team while working directly for the Delivery Lead/Product Owner.
• Be instrumental in data identification, data analysis, unit testing, and managing user testing & sign off.
• Apply attention to detail, sense of ownership, interpersonal skills, and excellent documentation skills to increase efficiency in the development process and reduce exceptions, bugs, and test failures.
