Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a position based in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

1. Energy Industry Billing and B2B Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of energy industry billing processes, logic, and B2B exchanges (including EDI) to analyze production issues, create business cases, and guide project scope.
2. Agile User Story Development: Craft detailed user stories in Jira or Azure DevOps, translating complex business requirements into actionable tasks for development teams.
3. Stakeholder Communication & Strategic Alignment: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, facilitate workshops to gather requirements, document business capabilities, and lead cross-functional collaboration and planning.

Requirements Analysis & Data Skills

1. Conduct thorough analysis, including use case modeling, data modeling, and process mapping to understand stakeholder needs and identify improvement opportunities.
2. Utilize querying tools and relational database knowledge to identify data issues, provide feedback on database designs, and translate business requirements into data models. Leverage Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboards.

Process & Application Management

1. Lead process redesigns, support initiatives, and mentor other analysts.
2. Develop and execute strategic application roadmaps, oversee the development lifecycle, and identify opportunities for optimization.

Risk & Quality Management

1. Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and support change management initiatives.
2. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure solutions meet quality standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements

• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Success in remote team environments.
• Basic SQL query development skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
