Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC is seeking a Technical Baseline Manager (Systems Engineer) to lead large-scale space systems engineering initiatives in a hybrid Aurora, CO environment. You will develop and manage technical baselines, specifications, CONOPS, and test plans with 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

The role requires secret clearance, experience coordinating with stakeholders, and proficiency with MBSE, SysML, and DoD standards. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 4+ years’ experience in space systems engineering or related field.
• Experience leading requirements and interface management for major programs.
• Experience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards.
• Proficiency with MBSE approaches and system definitions.
• Knowledge of IEEE 15288 standards and DoD 5000 series is a plus.

Job Description
Trusted Space is seeking a Technical Baseline Manager (Systems Engineer) with a Bachelor’s degree or higher and 4+ years’ experience to join our team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working on large-scale space systems engineering, integration, and development programs
• 2+ years of experience performing and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectural designs, and integration and test plans
• Experience leading requirements and interface management efforts for a major program
• Experience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering review
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWS
• Experience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines
• Experience creating and managing Jira tickets or Confluence pages
• Experience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS NextGen
• Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $150,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, LLC considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
