Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with ToF-SIMS, SIMS, mass spectrometry, surface analysis or high-vacuum instrumentation preferred.
• Strong sample preparation and handling skills with wafers, films, coatings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate ToF-SIMS for surface analysis, chemical imaging, and depth profiling.
• Prepare and handle wafers, films, coatings, powders, and other materials.
• Perform sample mounting, loading, vacuum operation, beam tuning, and data acquisition.
• Document sample information, experimental conditions, and analytical results.
• Prepare analysis summaries and contribute to technical reports.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and laboratory housekeeping.
• Follow chemical handling, waste disposal, and laboratory safety procedures.
• Coordinate with first-shift scientists/operators to maintain workflow continuity.

Duration: 12 Months contract (Annual Renewal)

Shift: Monday–Friday, approximately 4:00 PM–12:30 AM

Training: Day shift (~8:30 AM–5:00 PM) for the first 3 months before transitioning to second shift.

• Perform sample mounting, loading, vacuum operation, beam tuning, and data acquisition.
• Document sample information, experimental conditions, and analytical results.
