Position Overview

The Township seeks a skilled Technical Assistant in a busy customer-service oriented Construction Department. The ideal candidate must have 2 to 3 years’ experience in all aspects of the Construction Code Enforcement (UCC) Division and must possess a valid NJ Technical Assistant Certificate and be a NJ resident.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in all aspects of the Construction Code Enforcement (UCC) Division
• Valid NJ Technical Assistant Certificate
• NJ resident
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; Spatial Data Logic (preferred)
• Ability to interpret and apply local ordinances
• Ability to respond to OPRA requests
• Ability to prepare daily deposits and prepare necessary reports

Compensation & Hours

Position is Part-Time (up to 28 hours a week) with a salary range of $22 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
