Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Radiation Therapy Manager, the Technical Assistant performs a variety of patient care duties relating to the general operations of radiation therapy treatment delivery and simulation. The incumbent will greet and orient patients to the department on the first day of treatment. The incumbent’s main focus will be assisting the radiation therapists to maintain efficient workflows. The individual must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and also work well within a group setting. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of and serves as an assistant to the Radiation Therapists.
