MedQuest Associates is looking for a Technical Assistant (Medical Assistant, LPN, EMT)

PRN need for: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30am to 5pm additional days will be available if interested.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam day
• Assist the patient in completing paperwork
• Obtain medical history from the patient
• Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room
• Screen the patient for the exam - mainly MRI and CT exams
• Assist the technologist in preparing the exam table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
• Collate films and deliver to Radiologist
• Maintain linen inventory
• Assist with quarterly imaging inventory
• Research availability and obtain reports and films requested by Radiologist
• Serve as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have CPR certification

Prior Experience:

• Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience
• Experience as a Medical Assistant, LPN or EMT preferred
