MedQuest Associates is looking for a Technical Assistant (Medical Assistant, LPN, EMT, Phlebotomist, CNA).

Responsibilities

• Serve as an assistant to the Technologists to ensure patients are prepared for their imaging exam and complete the exam effectively.
• Screen patients prior to exam day.
• Assist patients in completing paperwork.
• Obtain medical history from the patient.
• Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam.
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room.
• Screen the patient for the exam, mainly MRI and CT exams.
• Assist the technologist in preparing the exam table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.).
• Collate films and deliver to Radiologist.
• Maintain linen inventory and assist with quarterly imaging inventory.
• Research availability and obtain reports and films requested by Radiologist.
• Serve as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have CPR certification.

Prior Experience:

• 0 – 2 years of experience preferred.
• Experience as a technical assistant is preferred.
• Medical Assistant, LPN, EMT, Phlebotomist, or CNA experience is preferred.
