The Family Tree, Inc. is seeking a GOFCC Coach / Technical Assistance Specialist to support aspiring licensed Family Child Care providers across Maryland.
You will coach from interest to licensure, build sustainable FCC businesses, and guide participants through Maryland EXCELS participation. This role requires hands-on relationship building, travel to participants' homes in Baltimore, and collaboration with community partners.
The GOFCC Coach / Technical Assistance Specialist plays a critical role in expanding access to high-quality child care by supporting individuals through the entire journey of becoming licensed Family Child Care (FCC) providers. This position requires a hands-on, relationship-driven coach who can guide participants from interest to licensure with urgency, accountability, and care. This role is part of the statewide Growing Opportunities for Family Child Care (GOFCC) initiative.
5 years’ experience in early childhood education program, licensed child care (center and/or family child care), school-age child care, Head Start/Early Head Start, or PreK education setting
While normal business hours are 8:00/9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (depending on time of arrival). this position requires some evening and Saturday hours to facilitate professional development classes. Work hours will be adjusted to maintain a 35-hour work week.
