Job summary

Texas A&M University is seeking a full-time, non-tenure Instructional Assistant Professor for Technical Art within the College of Performance, Visualization, & Fine Arts, starting Fall 2026. The candidate should have expertise in Unreal Engine and interactive media.

You will teach undergraduate courses, develop curriculum, and mentor students in a collaborative environment focused on interdisciplinary work. A terminal degree is required, with preference given to those with university teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Interactive Design or related field.
• Extensive university teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated progress toward completing Ph.D. for ABD candidates.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Visualization.
• Develop and implement new curriculum for PVFA programs.
• Mentor undergraduate students, especially in capstone courses.
