Job summary

JPS Tech Solutions in Austin, TX seeks a senior LabVantage expert with 8+ years in IT and 5+ years hands-on LabVantage LIMS/LES experience to lead complex instrument integration projects. You will design, configure, and implement LabVantage LIMS/LES integrations, SDMS connections, and data capture workflows across diverse laboratory instruments.

The role requires deep knowledge of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11, and hands-on experience with Waters Empower integration, NuGenesis archives, and Lantronix

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in LabVantage LIMS/LES implementation, configuration, and integration.
• Strong experience evaluating, designing, and configuring the LabVantage Empower Connector to integrate Waters Empower 3 (v3.6.1) with LabVantage LIMS (v8.8).
• Expertise in identifying and recommending design, configuration, and integration approaches based on architecture, master data, and functional requirements.
• Hands-on experience with LabVantage SDMS for bi-directional integration of complex file-based laboratory instruments with LabVantage LIMS/LES.
• Deep understanding of interfacing laboratory instruments with LabVantage and providing architecture recommendations to optimize performance and ensure data integrity.
• Experience with NuGenesis instrument data archives integration with LabVantage while minimizing data integrity risks.
• Strong experience configuring LabVantage LIMS/LES to interface with simple analytical instruments for automated data capture.
• Knowledge of configuring hardware communication devices such as Lantronix for connecting instruments to enterprise networks.
• Experience configuring analytical devices to enable seamless data capture within LabVantage.
• Strong understanding of laboratory informatics, SDMS, LIMS/LES architecture, instrument integration, GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, and data integrity principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting, solution architecture, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate existing environments and recommend scalable, compliant, and best-practice integration solutions.
