What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with local Commercial team members to support sales opportunities in the Southeast United States
- Leverage expertise in downstream technologies, including filtration and purification portfolios
- Identify strategic opportunities to gain market share and grow the business based on customer and industry insights
- Provide customer and commercial feedback to leadership to share best practices and identify potential gaps
- Engage in 30% domestic travel to customer locations to enhance business relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other scientific discipline, or Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering discipline
- 1+ years of downstream purification experience in the biopharma industry
- 1+ years of experience with development of TFF and/or Clarification purification unit operations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master of Business Administration
- 5+ years of direct experience with development and implementation of purification unit operations, ideally as a Process Development Scientist
- Strong customer and sales orientation
- Experience working in a sales or marketing organization
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong partnerships with internal and external partners
