A leading company is seeking an experienced Technical Adviser to join their team. The role involves technical planning, development, and implementation of complex systems. The adviser will provide guidance and leadership while supporting technical development and process improvement. This remote position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and may involve occasional travel.
The Technical Adviser will be responsible for the development and implementation of assigned projects. Responsibilities include technical planning, development, testing, supporting deployment, and evaluation of system capabilities. The role involves performing high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex systems, requiring thorough technical expertise. The adviser provides day-to-day technical guidance and leadership, offering subject matter proficiency for the tasks at hand. Additionally, the role involves supporting technical development, process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition through analytical skills and technical expertise.
The Technical Adviser exercises authority over all contractor engineering activities and phases of system development related to JCC2-R systems and capabilities. They serve as the primary contact with the PMO regarding the technical development of prioritized capabilities and the decomposition of requirements. Typical duties include leading technical analysis and planning, reviewing requirements documents, developing procedures, creating functional architectures, and other related technical and managerial tasks. Expertise in the relevant specialty area is required.
This position is contingent upon award and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. It is a remote position but may require occasional travel to San Antonio, TX, or Baltimore, MD, as requested by the client.
