Weekday AI is collaborating with a leading AI lab to source technical accounting and SEC reporting specialists. This fully remote, independent contractor role focuses on translating ASC judgments into structured training data and ensuring accuracy of AI outputs.

Ideal candidates have Big 4 or public-company experience with ASC exposure (606, 842, 718, 805), CPA, and a strong ability to write clear memos and disclosures. Weekly payments are processed via Stripe or Wise.

Qualificações

• In-depth ASC 606, 842, 718, 805 exposure.
• CPA certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Design realistic scenarios from your work—technical accounting memos, schedules, SEC filings, footnotes & disclosures, and applying ASC standards.
• Review and compare AI-generated outputs for standards-accurate conclusions and defensible support.
• Provide clear written feedback to improve AI reasoning on technical accounting.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team.

Compensation: $80 - $120 per hour

We are collaborating with a leading AI lab to engage technical accounting and SEC reporting specialists. You'll translate real technical-accounting and external-reporting work into structured, high-quality training data that teaches AI to reason through complex ASC judgments.

Focus Areas

Technical accounting & external / SEC reporting — with deep, hands‑on exposure to the standards (ASC 606 revenue, 842 leases, 718 stock comp, 805 business combinations).

Key Responsibilities

• Design realistic scenarios from your work — technical accounting memos, technical accounting schedules, SEC filings (10-K / 10-Q), footnotes & disclosures, and applying new/complex ASC standards to transactions
• Review and compare AI-generated technical outputs for standards‑accurate conclusions and defensible support
• Provide clear written feedback that improves how AI reasons about technical accounting
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team

Ideal Qualifications

• Big 4 or public-company technical accounting / SEC reporting background
• Deep, hands‑on ASC exposure (606, 842, 718, 805) — actual technical‑accounting depth, not general audit experience
• CPA
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
