Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Accounting Revenue Analyst to join our Technical Accounting team within the Finance department in North Reading, MA, USA. This position reports to the Technical Accounting Revenue Manager.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

This role is critical for ensuring the company maintains high standards of financial reporting and revenue recognition in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Key contributor to the corporate revenue recognition processes and procedures for internal stakeholders, external reporting, and auditors on ASC 606 matters, including:
• Reviewing material orders and preparing revenue recognition checklists and supporting documentation
• Supporting reviews of new/complex contracts to evaluate accounting treatment for revenue recognition
• Staying up to date with changes in accounting standards impacting revenue recognition
• Reviewing business plans for new products and revenue-generating offerings
• Partner with divisional finance leads to ensure proper revenue recognition by researching complex revenue topics and concluding on various revenue streams.
• Prepare schedules for external revenue reporting, including 10-Q/K revenue footnotes and MD&A disclosures.
• Liaise with external auditors to provide revenue support and schedules.
• Assist in initiatives to evaluate and improve revenue recognition practices, including process streamlining and technology utilization.
• Help prepare materials and lead cross-functional trainings with Sales, Legal, Operations, and IT on accounting implications.
• Collaborate with divisional finance to streamline and standardize revenue reporting processes.

• CPA (required, but candidates on the path to completing CPA exams may be considered)
• Minimum of 2 years in public accounting, with experience in revenue recognition and SOX controls (required)
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 requirements
• Experience with public filings
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and senior management
• Passionate about learning and leveraging technologies for process improvements (RPA, Copilot, OCR, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Experience working in a global team
